Selling my beloved 02 mazda protege lx. I got in an accident and smashed the front end. The hood, headlights, and grill need to be replaced. I drove it home from the accident. My kids have been nagging me to get a new car. I refused for a long while because this car is amazing and i love it!! But the damage from the accident could be more than $1500.. For me, so i guess it is time to upgrade. It just goes and goes. It has been so good to me. I am the original owner. Bought it new off the lot. I have taken great care it. It has 164,500 miles and gets 25city/31hwy miles per gallon. In just the last six months, it has had a full tune-up, new axle, alternator, water pump, timing belt and tires. That is almost $2000 right there. I have all the receipts. The a/c and heater both run perfect. The power windows/locks/sunroof/ cruise control all work great. Interior lights all work. Spacious trunk with fold down back seats. No cracks or chips in any of the windows. Current safety and emissions certification. It does have a few spots/small tears on the seats, minor clear coat peeling, minor rust around tire wells, and minor exterior scrapes and dents from normal wear and tear. Also, the exterior key lock on the front passenger door needs to be replaced, but the handle and manual lock work fine (never bothered me so i haven't replaced it). So, repairs with this great car are mostly cosmetic. Mechanically, this car is super sound. Please text me for a photo of the damaged front .. Or, better yet, come take a look!
